Around 8:45 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an assault with a weapon at a multi-unit residential building in the 0-100 block of Allard Street. Officers were dispatched to the scene. An investigation revealed the accused struck a victim with an object. The victim sustained minor physical injuries and was transported to hospital. The victim and accused are known to one another. The accused was arrested.
The accused is charged with assault with a weapon. They were released on an undertaking and are scheduled to appear in court on August 31, 2026.
