Theft Charges Laid
On April 3, 2024, officers with the Bail Compliance Unit charged 27-year-old Aaron Kerr with theft under $5,000 and several other offences.
Between February 11 and March 22, 2024, Sault Police received reports of the accused stealing items on four separate occasions: twice from a business in the 200 block of Bay Street and twice from a business in the 200 block of Second Line West. The total value of items stolen is approximately $689.95.
On April 3, 2024, officers located the accused in the 500 block of Second Line East, and they were arrested. The accused is charged with:
- Theft Under $5,000 x4
- Failure to Comply with Release Order x4
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order x4
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
