The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service (SSMPS) now has two computer kiosks available for public use at its Division 2 location.
The sit-stand kiosks provide convenient access to a selection of online SSMPS services, including:
- Bicycle Registry
- Compliment a Member
- File a Complaint
- Parade/Procession Permit application
- Record Check application
- Report a Collision
- Report a Crime
- Security Camera Registry
- Traffic Escort/Paid Duty application
- Wandering/Vulnerable Person Registry
While these services remain available anytime at saultpolice.ca, the kiosks provide another way for community members to access them. This may help bridge gaps in accessing services for those who may not have reliable access to the internet or a computer or mobile device, or who may need assistance from a duty officer.
The kiosks can also make it easier for people visiting Division 2 to complete online forms and access services while already at the building. With the Collision Reporting Centre located at Division 2, for example, members of the public can use the kiosks to begin completing their collision report, helping streamline the reporting process.
Division 2, located at 180 Brock Street, is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays. Members of the public are welcome to attend Division 2 to report an incident in person or use the kiosks during business hours.
