One Charged with Theft Over $5,000
On April 18, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 61-year-old Emmanuel De Melo with theft over $5,000.
On April 14, 2024, 911 Communicators received a report of theft from a residence in the 100 block of Salisbury Avenue. Investigation revealed the accused had taken a variety of items from someone known to them with a total value of approximately $10,000. The accused was given an opportunity to return the stolen items but did not. A warrant was obtained for their arrest.
On April 18, 2024, officers attended the 0-100 block of Salisbury Avenue in response to reports of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, officers located the accused, and they were arrested on the strength of a warrant.
The accused is charged with:

The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on June 17, 2024.
