One Charged with Possession for Purpose of Trafficking
On March 17, 2024, officers with Patrol Services, with assistance from the Crime Suppression Unit, charged 32-year-old Paul Quesnel with possession of a schedule I substances for the purpose of trafficking.
Around 2:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to the accused’s residence in response to reports they were breaching the conditions of their release order. They were arrested.
A subsequent search of the accused found them to be in possession of approximately 14 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 30 grams of suspected cocaine, and $840 cash. The estimated street value of the narcotics seized is $4,478.
The accused is charged with:
- Possession of Schedule I Substance for Purpose of Trafficking x2
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order
- Failure to Comply with Release Order x2
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
