On September 15, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged 40-year-old Eric Richer with mischief and theft.
On August 21, 2026, 911 Communicators received a report of mischief at a business in the 200 block of Second Line West. Officers were dispatched to the scene. An investigation revealed that on August 8, 2026, the accused stole material from the business and, in doing so, caused significant damage to the business’s property. A warrant was obtained for their arrest.
On September 15, 2026, officers located and arrested the accused. The accused is charged with:
- Mischief Over $5,000
- Theft Under $5,000
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
