One Charged with Break and Enter, Theft, Mischief
On March 18, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 46-year-old Charles Walton with break and enter, mischief, and theft.
Around 5:00 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a break and enter at a business in the 500 block of Queen Street East. Officers were dispatched to the business where they found damaged property but no one inside. Officers located the accused, who matched the description of the suspect, nearby. They were arrested. A search found the accused to be in possession of stolen merchandise from the business.
The accused is charged with:
- Break and Enter – Commit Indictable Offence
- Theft Under $5,000
- Mischief Under $5,000
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
