One Charged with Break and Enter, Possession of Break-In Instruments
On November 18, 2023, officers with Patrol Services charged 54-year-old Charles Shaw with break and enter and possession of break-in instruments.
Around 2:20 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of someone breaking into a business in the 400 block of McNabb Street. Officers were dispatched to the business where they located, identified, and arrested the accused. A subsequent search found the accused to be in possession of a pair of bolt cutters and a hammer.
The accused is charged with:
- Break and Enter – Intent to Commit Indictable Offence
- Possession of Break-In Instruments
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on January 8, 2024.
