On October 21, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged 43-year-old Michael Allen with break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime, and other offences.
Shortly before 5:00 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a break and enter at a business in the 100 block of West Street. Officers were dispatched to the scene, where the accused was in custody of security guards. An investigation revealed the accused broke into the business and stole several items, which were located in their possession. The accused was also wanted on four outstanding warrants. They were arrested.
The accused is charged with:
- Break, Enter a Place – Commit Indictable Offence
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order x6
- Fail to Comply with Release Order – Other Than to Attend Court x3
- Failure to Attend Court After Having Appeared
- Fail to Comply with Appearance Notice – Court/Fingerprinting
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
