One Charged with Assault, Uttering Threats
On April 2, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 35-year-old Melissa Favaro with assault and uttering threats.
On the morning of April 2, 2024, Sault Police received a report of an assault which had occurred in the 0-100 block of Grosvenor Avenue on March 31, 2024. Investigation revealed the accused had physically assaulted and verbally threatened someone known to them. Officers were dispatched to the accused’s residence, and they were arrested.
The accused is charged with:

- Uttering Threats
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on June 3, 2024.
