Man Charged with Break and Enter
On January 27, 2022, officers with Patrol Services charged 40-year-old Brendan Gignac with break and enter.
Around 1:50 p.m. officers responded to a call of a break and enter in progress in the 400 block of Albert Street East. Upon arrival, officers observed a man, matching the description of the person involved, walking in the area. Officers identified him as the accused, and he was placed under investigative detention.
Officers continued the investigation and determined the accused had entered the building, but no property has been reported missing. He was arrested. He is charged with,
- Break and Enter
- Breach of Probation – Failing to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour x2
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
