Wanted Person Charged with Possession for Purpose of Trafficking
On February 10, 2025, officers with Patrol Services, with assistance from the Drug Enforcement Unit, charged 30-year-old Nikki Mortimore with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Around 2:30 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report regarding an individual from a Crime Stoppers Wanted Wednesday post being seen in a business in the 0-100 block of Great Northern Road. Officers were dispatched to the business where they located, and arrested, the accused.
A search of the accused located one bullet, approximately 35.16 grams of suspected fentanyl, less than one gram of suspected cocaine, drug packaging materials, and approximately $1,000 in Canadian currency. The approximate street value of drugs seized is $5,374.
The accused is charged with:
- Possession of Schedule I Substance for Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Schedule I Substance
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5,000
- Failure to Comply with Release Order – Other Than to Attend Court
The accused was also wanted on warrants for the following offences:
- Failure to Attend Court After Having Appeared
- Failure to Comply with Release Order – Other Than to Attend Court
- Mischief – Under $5,000 x2
- Assault with a Weapon
- Causing a Disturbance
- Obstruct Peace Officer
- Failure to Attend for Fingerprints – As Per Undertaking
- Failure to Attend Court – As Per Undertaking
- Assault
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
