Two Charged with Break and Enter
On April 23, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 36-year-old Melissa Skouris and 49-year-old Michael Solomon with break and enter and possession of break-in instruments.
Shortly after midnight, 911 Communicators received a report of a break and enter in progress at a business in the 600 block of John Street. Officers were dispatched to the business. Upon arrival, officers located the accused inside the business, and they were arrested.
Skouris was found to be in possession of a mask, gloves, and bolt cutters. Solomon was found to be in possession of bolt cutters, gloves, and a flashlight. They had damaged property while breaking into the business.
36-year-old Melissa Skouris is charged with:

- Possession of Break-In Instruments
- Disguise with Intent
- Mischief Under $5,000
This accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
49-year-old Michael Solomon is charged with:
- Break and Enter
- Possession of Break-In Instruments
- Mischief Under $5,000
This accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on June 17, 2024.
