Two Charged with Assault
On December 30, 2024, detectives with Investigation Services charged 45-year-old Allison Boissoneau and 24-year-old Joanna Boissoneau with assault.
On November 1, 2024, 911 Communicators received a report of an assault in the 0-100 block of Dennis Street. Officers were dispatched to the scene. Although they left prior to officers’ arrival, an investigation revealed the two accused had gotten into an altercation with a victim, who is known to them, and physically assaulted them. The victim sustained multiple physical injuries and was transported to hospital. An arrest warrant was obtained for both accused.
On December 30, 2024, both accused attended the Police Services Building to turn themselves in. They were arrested. Both accused are charged with assault. Both accused were released on undertakings and are scheduled to appear in court on February 24, 2025.
