Sault Police Investigating Motor Vehicle Collision Involving Pedestrian
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is investigating a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian which took place around 5:20 a.m. in the 0-100 block of Great Northern Road on November 7, 2024.
A pedestrian attempting to cross Great Northern Road was struck by a motor vehicle and has sustained non-life-threatening physical injuries. They were transported to hospital. The pedestrian was charged with disobeying a “don’t walk” signal under the Highway Traffic Act
The driver of the vehicle did not sustain physical injuries. Police are not releasing the identities of those involved.
