One Charged with Theft Over $5,000, Theft of Credit Card
On November 20, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 30-year-old Rilee Bychko with theft over $5,000, theft of a credit card, and several other offences.
Around 8:00 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of someone using a stolen credit card at a business in the 200 block of Second Line West. An investigation revealed the accused had stolen the credit card of someone known to them and used it to purchase approximately $7,100 in goods from the business. They were arrested.
The accused is charged with:
- Theft of Credit Card
- Theft Over $5,000
- Failure to Attend for Fingerprints as Per Undertaking
- Failure to Attend Court After Having Appeared
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on January 20, 2024.
