One Charged with Operation While Impaired, Dangerous Operation

On February 12, 2025, officers with Patrol Services charged 25-year-old Dustin Sleeth of Kingston, Ontario, with operation while impaired and dangerous operation.

Around 2:45 a.m., officers patrolling Second Line East saw a vehicle being driven erratically and conducted a traffic stop. Upon speaking with the driver, officers developed grounds to believe their ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The accused provided a roadside breath sample into an approved screening device, which registered above the legal limit. They were arrested. The accused was transported to the Police Services Building to provide additional breath samples, which also registered above the legal limit.

The accused is charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired – Drug and/or Alcohol
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80+)
  • Dangerous Operation

The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on March 10, 2025.
