One Charged with Operation While Impaired
On June 15, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 43-year-old Amanda Bouchard with operation while impaired.
Around 11:20 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a collision in the 0-100 block of Hardwood Street in which one vehicle had crashed into the rear of another vehicle. Officers were dispatched to the scene. Upon speaking with the accused, who was identified as the driver of the vehicle, officers developed grounds to believe their ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. They were arrested. No physical injuries were sustained.
The accused provided officers with multiple breath samples, all of which registered above the legal limit.
The accused is charged with:
- Operation While Impaired – Drug and/or Alcohol
- Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80+)
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on July 15, 2024.
