One Charged with Obstructing and Resisting Peace Officers
On November 20, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 29-year-old Daniel Campbell with obstructing and resisting a peace officer.
Around 8:30 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an unwanted person inside someone’s shed in the 600 block of Lennox Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the residence. Officers attempted to speak with the accused, who had barricaded the shed door and was refusing to open it. Officers gained entry into the shed and the accused continued refusing the officers’ commands and resisted arrest. Officers were able to gain control of the accused and they were arrested.
The accused is charged with:
- Obstruct Peace Officer
- Resist Peace Officer
- Failure to Comply with Release Order – Other Than to Attend Court
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order
- Failure to Attend Court After Having Appeared
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing and remanded.
