On July 10, 2024, 911 Communicators received a report of a break and enter at a business in the 100 block of Old Garden River Road. Officers were dispatched to the business. An investigation revealed someone had broken into the business and, once inside, had broken into a display case using a hammer and stolen several items.

On July 12, 2024, 911 Communicators received another report of a break and enter at the same business. Officers were dispatched to investigate. The investigation revealed the same person had broken into the business again, causing more property damage, and had stolen approximately sixty items.
