One Charged with Mischief x5
On October 2, 2024, detectives with the Crime Suppression Unit, with assistance from Investigation Services and Patrol Services, charged 37-year-old Jordan Solomon with five counts of mischief under $5,000.
On September 28, 2024, detectives began investigating several reports of racial slurs and other phrases spraypainted and/or written at five separate locations.
The investigation revealed, between 10:40 a.m. and 12:05 p.m., the accused had vandalized property in the 200 block of Wellington Street West, the 500 block of Queen Street East, the 100 block of East Street, the pride crosswalk near Spring Street and Bay Street, and the 100 block of West Street.
On October 2, 2024, detectives located the accused on Edinburgh Street. They were arrested and charged with five counts of mischief under $5,000.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on December 2, 2024. The accused was also wanted on a warrant with the Anishinabek Police Service and was brought back to the Police Services Building to address this warrant.
