One Charged with Indecent Act in a Public Place
On November 5, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 50-year-old Michael Lannigan with committing an indecent act in a public place, causing a disturbance, and several other offences.
Around 3:00 p.m. on November 4, 2024, 911 Communicators received a report of the accused having exposed their genitals several times in a public place in the 700 block of Great Northern Road. Although the accused had left prior to officers’ arrival, officers were dispatched to the area and located the accused nearby. They were arrested.
An investigation revealed the accused had pulled their pants down and exposed their genitals and buttocks whilst walking around in front of multiple people, including youths.
The accused is charged with:
- Causing a Disturbance
- Indecent Act – Public Place
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order
- Failure to Comply with Undertaking x2
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing and has been remanded.
