One Charged with Dangerous Operation
On October 28, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 19-year-old Isaac Guerriero with dangerous operation.
Around 7:10 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a victim having been involved in an unreported motor vehicle collision several hours earlier. An investigation revealed the accused had driven a vehicle at a high rate of speed and crashed into a transport trailer parked on Third Line West, causing their passenger to sustain minor physical injuries. The accused removed their vehicle, which had sustained major damage, from the scene of the collision and failed to notify police.
Officers located the accused at their residence, and they were arrested.
The accused is charged with:
- Dangerous Operation Causing Bodily Harm
- Fail to Remain (under the Highway Traffic Act)
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on January 13, 2025.
