One Charged with Break and Enter, Theft
On June 22, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 21-year-old Chrisyl Okimaw of Attawapiskat, Ontario, with break and enter, theft, and other offences.
Around 6:00 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a break and enter in progress at a business in the 1300 block of Great Northern Road. Officers were dispatched to the business where they located the accused inside. They were arrested.
An investigation revealed the accused had broken into the business and attempted to steal items and cash with a value of approximately $1,000.
The accused is charged with:
- Break and Enter
- Theft Under $5,000
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on August 26, 2024.
