One Charged with Break and Enter, Possession of Break In Instruments
On October 18, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 40-year-old Christopher Rivard with break and enter, possession of break in instruments, and failure to comply with a probation order.
Around 8:00 p.m. 911 Communicators received a report of someone cutting through a fence in the 100 block of MacDonald Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, officers located the accused on the private property within the fence’s perimeter. They were arrested. A search of the accused found them to be in possession of multiple break in instruments.
The accused is charged with:
- Break and Enter – Intent to Commit Indictable Offence
- Possession of Break In Instruments
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
