One Charged with Being Unlawfully in Dwelling House, Personation with Intent
On September 23, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 37-year-old Adam Combs with being unlawfully in a dwelling house and personation with intent to avoid arrest.
Around 7:45 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an unwanted person inside a residence in the 0-100 block of Chapple Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the residence. Although the accused had left prior to officers’ arrival, an investigation revealed they were unlawfully inside the victim’s residence when they arrived home. The victim and the accused are unknown to one another.
A short time later, officers located the accused in the 0-100 block of Princess Crescent. When asked to identify themselves, the accused provided a false name. Officers knew them to be the accused, and they were arrested.
The accused is charged with:
- Unlawfully in Dwelling House
- Personation with Intent to Avoid Arrest
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
