One Charged with Assaulting Causing Bodily Harm, Theft
On December 9, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 36-year-old Alicia Palmer with assault causing bodily harm, theft, and failure to comply with a probation order.
Shortly before 4:00 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a theft involving an assault at a business in the 400 block of Great Northern Road. Officers were dispatched to the business, where they found the accused in custody of a security officer. They were arrested.
An investigation revealed the accused had filled a shopping cart with items valued at more than $900 and left the business without paying. When confronted by a security officer, the accused kicked, punched, and bit them. The victim sustained physical injuries.
The accused is charged with:
- Assault Causing Bodily Harm
- Theft – Under $5,000
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
