One Charged with Assault with Weapon, Administering Noxious Thing
On December 9, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 21-year-old Noeh Boyer with assault with a weapon and administering a noxious thing.
Around 4:30 p.m. on November 22, 2024, officers were dispatched to a multi-unit residence building in the 0-100 block of Edinburgh Street in response to reports of an assault. An investigation revealed the accused had struck a victim in the head twice with a fire extinguisher and had sprayed the fire extinguisher in their face. The victim sustained physical injuries and was transported to hospital. The victim and the accused are known to one another. A warrant was obtained for the accused’s arrest.
On December 9, 2024, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of John Street for an unwanted persons call. Upon arrival, officers located the accused. They were arrested.
The accused is charged with:
- Assault with a Weapon
- Administer Noxious Thing
- Failure to Attend for Court – As Per Undertaking
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
