One Charged with Assault with a Weapon and Administering Noxious Thing
On February 24, 2025, officers with Patrol services charged 27-year-old Brent Boissoneau-Stone with assault with a weapon, administering a noxious thing, and several other offences.
Around 3:15 p.m. on February 18, 2025, 911 Communicators received a report of a disturbance at a multi-unit residence building in the 0-100 block of Hynes Street. Officers were dispatched to the scene. An investigation revealed the accused had assaulted a victim by spraying them in the face with bear spray before running away. The accused and victim are known to one another. No physical injuries were reported. A warrant was obtained for their arrest.
On February 24, 2025, officers located the accused in the area of Beverly Street and Edinburgh Street. They were arrested.
The accused is charged with:
- Administer Noxious Thing
- Assault with Weapon
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order x2
- Possession of Weapon Contrary to Prohibition Order x3
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
