One Charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm
On January 16, 2025, officers with Patrol Services charged 61-year-old Daniel Saunders with assault causing bodily harm.
Shortly after 9:00 a.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the 0-100 block of Bloor Street in response to a report of an assault. An investigation revealed the accused had punched the victim, who is known to them, more than ten times in the head, face, and body. The victim sustained physical injuries.
Officers located the accused in the 700 block of Carmen’s Way. They were arrested.
The accused is charged with assault causing bodily harm. They were released on an undertaking and are scheduled to appear in court on March 10, 2025.
