Man charged with dangerous driving and flight from police
On the 26th of July 2022, A motorcycle proceeded through a red light on Great Northern Road and began doing circles in the intersection. The motorcycle also left the area doing a wheelie and leaving at a high rate of speed. Officers were in the immediate area and did not pursue for public safety. Further, on the 30th of August, 2022, the same motorcycle was observed doing wheelies and running red lights. It is alleged that the driver was attempting to engage with officers who were in the immediate area.
Officers from Patrol and the Crime Suppression Unit located and arrested 24 year old, Louis Boyer with Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle x4, Flight from Police x2, as well as Drive under Suspension. The Yamaha YZF-r was seized as a result of the investigation. Boyer and was held for Bail Court.
