Career Information Session

In collaboration with Employment Solutions, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service (SSMPS) will be holding a Career Information Session for those interested in a career as a police officer or special constable.

The session will consist of a short presentation with plenty of time for questions. This is a great opportunity to connect with our recruitment team, learn more about a career with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, and discover the many ways Employment Solutions can assist you with the application process.

Date: Wednesday, October 30, 2024
Time: 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Location: Employment Solutions (477 Queen St E, Sault Ste. Marie)

If you are interested in attending, please fill out the registration form below. Participants must be at least 18 years old and a permanent resident or Canadian citizen. You will be required to consent to a basic background check. Factors that will come up in a background check and may disqualify you from participating include (but are not limited to): recent police involvement, intimate partner (domestic) violence, criminal charges, affiliation with criminal activity, etc.

If your registration is approved by Uniform Recruitment, you will be sent additional information.

If your registration is not approved, you will be informed accordingly. Only those whose registration has been approved will be permitted to participate.

Please only register if you are certain you will be able to attend on your chosen date and time as capacity is limited to 16 people per session. If you register and do not show up for your session without a valid reason, you will be ineligible for participation in future sessions. Your missed session will also be kept on file and referenced in any future job applications with SSMPS.
