Youth Charged with Break and Enter and Theft
On August 2, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged a 14-year-old with break and enter, theft , mischief, and possession of property obtained by crime.
On August 1, 2024, the victim, upon returning home after being away for the month of July, noticed several items were missing from their room in a multi-unit residence. The victim called 911 Communicators to report the incident.
Upon arrival officers investigated and discovered the accused had entered the victim’s room and stolen several items with a value of over $5,000. The accused was arrested.
The accused is charged with,
• Breaking, Entering, and Committing
• Theft over $5,000
• Mischief over $5,000
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on October 8, 2024.
