Weapon Charges Laid After BB Gun Pointed at Victim
On August 8, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 18-year-old Christian Dosko with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, pointing a firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon.
Around 5:40 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of someone with a firearm in the 100 block of Churchill Boulevard. Officers were dispatched to the area and located the suspect. They were detained and identified as the accused.
An investigation revealed the accused had walked by a victim, who is unknown to the accused, lifted their shirt to reveal what appeared to be a firearm, pulled it out, and pointed it at the victim before walking away. Officers learned the accused had stashed the firearm in a business in the area. It was recovered and found to be a BB gun. The accused was arrested.

- Assault with Weapon
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Pointing a Firearm
- Carrying Concealed Weapon
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on October 21, 2024.
