Sault Police Seeking Information About Suspect in Credit Card Fraud
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service’s Fraud Unit is seeking information regarding an incident of credit card fraud which occurred between January 6, 2025, and February 6, 2025.
On March 17, 2025, detectives began investigating the fraudulent use of credit cards in defrauding a business in the 0-100 block of Second Line East. The suspect ordered a total of $17,350 in items over the phone using a fraudulent credit card and sent a second suspect to pick up the items on January 8, 2025, and February 10, 2025.
