One Found with $15,000 Fentanyl, Charged
On July 12, 2024, detectives with Investigation Services, with assistance from the Drug Enforcement Unit, charged 37-year-old Tyler Seaton with possession for the purpose of trafficking and fail to comply with probation order.
Around 5:00 a.m., detectives attending an unrelated call on Wellington Street East located the accused in the area and found them to be in possession of approximately 100 grams of suspected fentanyl along with packaging materials and $300 in Canadian currency. The estimated street value of drugs seized is approximately $15,000.
The accused was arrested and is charged with:
- Possession of Schedule I Substance for Purpose of Trafficking
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on September 16, 2024.
