One Charged with Break and Enter
On August 9, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 36-year-old Xavier Stoneypoint with break and enter.
On August 22, 2023, 911 Communicators received a report of a break and enter at a business in the 800 block of Bay Street. Officers were dispatched to the scene. Although the accused had left prior to officers’ arrival, an investigation revealed property had been damaged and items had been stolen. Officers identified the suspect involved as the accused. A warrant was obtained for their arrest.
On August 9, 2024, officers attending an unrelated call located and arrested the accused on the strength of a warrant. They were charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on October 21, 2024.
