Gore Street Assault Investigation
On January 4, 2022, officers with Patrol Services charged 30-year-old Brandon Daigle with aggravated assault.
Around 1:30 p.m. an altercation ensued between the accused and a man known to him in the 100 block of Gore Street. During the altercation, the accused pulled a knife and stabbed the victim, before leaving the area.
Officers responded a short time later and located the victim suffering from serious injuries. The victim was transported to hospital.
Officers located the accused a short time later around Albert Street West and Carmen’s Way and he was arrested. A subsequent search of the accused found him to be in possession of a knife.
He is charged with
- Aggravated Assault
- Assault with a Weapon
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
He was held for bail court.
