On July 10, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged a 17-year-old with assault with a weapon, administering a noxious thing, and other offences.
Around 10:30 p.m. on July 7, 2026, 911 Communicators received a report of a disturbance involving youth in the 500 block of Goulais Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the scene. An investigation revealed the accused verbally threatened to harm a group of victims, sprayed multiple victims with bear mace, and threw rocks at them. The victims and accused are known to one another. No physical injuries were reported.
On July 10, 2026, officers located and arrested the accused. The accused is charged with:
- Administer Noxious Thing
- Assault with a Weapon x2
- Breach of Recognizance x2
- Carrying Concealed Weapon
- Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
