Woman Charged with Operation While Impaired
On February 18, 2022, officers with Patrol Services charged 42-year-old Stacey Hando of Aweres Township with operation while impaired – alcohol and/or drug.
Around 11:00 p.m. officers attended a motor vehicle collision on Great Northern Road between Fifth and Sixth Line. Officers observed EMS on scene and the accused was receiving medical attention. Upon speaking with the accused officers developed grounds to believe her ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
She was arrested and later provided samples into an approved device, registering two fail results. She is charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and/or drug and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80+).
She was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on March 21, 2022.
