Technological Crime

Sault Police’s Technological Crime Unit consists of three officers with highly specialized knowledge.  These officers examine anything from computers to cellphones to determine if these devices have been used in any capacity related to a crime.  The unit provides forensic analysis of technology with a primary focus on combating child pornography and the exploitation of children on the internet.  For more information about how to protect your loved ones online please visit the Canadian Centre for Child Protection.
