One Charged with Two Counts of Dangerous Operation Causing Bodily Harm

On April 29, 2026, officers with Traffic Services charged 26-year-old Shelby Storozuk of Goulais River, Ontario, with two counts of dangerous operation causing bodily harm.

At approximately 8:10 a.m. on March 27, 2026, officers responded to a collision involving an SUV and two pedestrians—both youth—in the area of Second Line West and Whitney Avenue. Both pedestrians sustained serious physical injuries and were transported to hospital. The driver of the vehicle—identified as the accused—did not sustain any physical injuries.

An investigation revealed the accused crossed the centre line separating eastbound and westbound traffic, overcorrected, and crossed the fog line onto the shoulder, striking the pedestrians.

On April 29, 2026, officers arrested the accused. The accused is charged with:

  • Dangerous Operation Causing Bodily Harm x2

The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on July 27, 2026.
