On May 28, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged 18-year-old Nevaeh Funk with three counts of assault with a weapon.
Around 5:20 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an assault with a weapon at a multi-unit residence building in the 100 block of Church Street. Officers were dispatched to the scene, where they located and arrested the accused.
An investigation revealed the accused got into an argument with a victim and struck them with an object, verbally threatened them, and chased them with a knife. The accused also struck a second victim with a different object, causing minor physical injuries. The accused and victims are known to one another.
The accused is charged with:
- Assault with a Weapon x3
- Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
