On August 31, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged 24-year-old Jessy Audet with robbery, carrying a concealed weapon, and other offences.
Around 12:00 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an altercation at a business in the 200 block of Lake Street. Officers were dispatched to the scene. An investigation revealed the accused approached a victim while brandishing a utility knife and demanded they hand over one of their belongings. The victim and accused are not known to one another. No physical injuries were reported. The accused was arrested.
Upon searching the accused, officers located the utility knife concealed in the accused’s pocket.
The accused is charged with:
- Carrying Concealed Weapon
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order x2
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Robbery
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
