On August 2, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged 43-year-old Jennifer Dumoulin with operation while impaired and dangerous operation.
Around 2:10 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an erratic driver in the 200 block of Second Line West. Officers were dispatched to the area, where they located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Upon speaking with the driver, who was identified as the accused, officers developed grounds to believe their ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by drug.
Officers conducted a Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST) and the accused performed poorly. They were arrested.
The accused was transported to the Police Services Building for an evaluation by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE). The evaluation determined the accused was impaired by drug.
The accused is charged with:
- Operation While Impaired – Drug and/or Alcohol
- Operation While Impaired – Blood Drug Concentration
- Dangerous Operation
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on August 31, 2026.
