On April 6, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged 43-year-old Justin St. Amour with mischief and false alarm of fire.
Around 3:15 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of mischief at a multi-unit residential building in the 100 block of Chapple Avenue. An investigation revealed the accused had falsely pulled a fire alarm, resulting in Sault Fire Services attending the scene.
Shortly before 3:40 a.m., officers located and arrested the accused. The accused is charged with:
- Mischief – Interfere with Lawful Use, Enjoyment, or Operation of Property
- False Alarm of Fire
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order x3
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on June 29, 2026.
