One Charged with Impaired Operation Causing Death and Bodily Harm
On April 20, 2025, officers with Patrol Services charged 18-year-old Gregory Parise with impaired operation causing death and bodily harm.
Around 1:00 a.m. on April 20, 2025, 911 Communicators received a report of a motor vehicle collision in the 800 block of Goulais Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, officers observed two victims receiving medical attention from EMS. Both were transported to hospital. One victim, 15 years of age, succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased. The other victim, also 15 years of age, has serious injuries.
An investigation determined the accused was driving a pickup truck northbound on Goulais Avenue and, when attempting to turn left onto Third Line West, struck the two victims as they were travelling southbound on Goulais Avenue on an e-bike.
Upon speaking with accused, officers developed grounds to believe their ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The accused provided breath samples, which registered above the legal limit. They were arrested.

- Impaired Operation Causing Death
- Dangerous Operation Causing Death
- Impaired Operation Causing Bodily Harm
- Dangerous Operation Causing Bodily Harm
- Driver Fail to Surrender Licence (under the Highway Traffic Act)
- Novice Driver – B.A.C. Above Zero (under the Highway Traffic Act)
- Class G1 Licence Holder – Drive at Unlawful Hour (under the Highway Traffic Act)
- Person Under 19 Years Consuming Liquor (under the Liquor Licence and Control Act)
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
