One Charged with Fraud, Theft
On September 17, 2025, detectives with the Fraud Unit charged 35-year-old Amanda Anderson with fraud and theft.
On April 14, 2025, detectives began investigating a report of an employee defrauding a business in the 200 block of Wellington Street West. The investigation revealed the accused had defrauded and stolen money from the business on two occasions.
On September 17, 2025, the accused attended the Police Services Building to turn themself in. They were arrested.
The accused is charged with:
- Fraud – Over $5,000
- Fraud – Under $5,000
- Theft – Over $5,000
- Theft – Under $5,000
The accused as released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on November 17, 2025.
