On June 1, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged 32-year-old Desni Syrette with break and enter.
Around 10:00 a.m. 911 Communicators received a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence in the 0-100 block of Abbott Street. Officers were dispatched to the scene. Officers located the accused inside the residence, and they were arrested. A search of the accused located property belonging to the victim.
The accused is charged with:
- Break, Enter a Dwelling House – Commit Indictable Offence
- Theft – Under $5,000
The accused as released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on August 24, 2026.
