On June 27, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged 19-year-old Jayden Agawa-Corbiere with assault and resisting peace officers.
Around 2:30 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an assault in the 1000 block of Carpin Beach Road. Officers were dispatched to the scene. An investigation revealed the accused struck a victim and knocked them to the ground when asked to leave the property. The victim and accused are not known to one another. The victim sustained minor physical injuries.
The accused is charged with:
- Assault
- Resist Peace Officer
- Being Intoxicated in Public Place (under the Liquor Licence and Control Act)
- Fail to Leave Premises When Directed (under the Trespass to Property Act)
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on September 21, 2026.
